As i mentioned on the about page, i have tried to organise the content into some kind of order. I will explain.
The categories are listed in an order of knowledge priority and also in an order of steps usually taken when executing your projects. Therefore it is important you understand in depth, the revenue streams. As stated on the ‘how you will make money’ page. I learnt very quickly the 3 key revenue streams, their quirks, their similarities, the synergies between them…of which there are many.
I therefore follow the categories on adsense, arbitrage and affiliate marketing with the Keyword category. The beginning of any DBTM project requires the use of keywords. You will find more about this on the first steps..keyword page.
As i state on the ‘basic principles’ page, content is king and building good quality website and virtual real estate (VRE) is super important. Therefore once you have understood the sources of money (revenue streams), and know which keywords will bring you in the most money, it is important to know how to create websites quickly, in volume and with good content.
The categories on VRE and content are followed by several categories that explore the main techniques of bringing in traffic. This is usually known by the shorthand of Search Engine Optimisation (SEO), but it covers many areas: optimising your website for search engines, executing strategies that are ‘offsite’ or ‘offpage’, learning the quirks and trends that dictate how your website will rank in the major search engines (Yahoo, Google, MSN).
Lastly, but by no means least, it is important to test, evaluate and improve. I do this for two reasons : 1> to make my next DBTM project better than the last, 2> to improve each one. Testing sounds boring, but it really is where your success is determined. Have all your websites competing against each other. Try to outperform the first with your second. Evaluate conversion rates. Thankfully there are some great - and free - tools you can use for this.
